Clarkfinadv Scam Warning – Reputable Company Cloned!

Welcome to our Clark Financial Advisory Limited review, in which we investigate the website currently found at Clarkfinadv.com.

On April 30, 2023, we received the following complaint:

After having done some reading on the web about an investment company called Clarkfinadv.com, I invested 4100 euros into this platform. I made good profits, but when I wanted to withdraw money, I was told that I had to pay 25% of the amount that I wanted to withdraw, with payment required upfront. Moreover, I could even run the risk of my account being frozen, and releasing my money would cost me an additional 20%. In the end, I lost 4100 euros.

So is Clarkfinadv.com a SCAM?

The platform also caters to Muslim clients with Islamic accounts that comply with religious beliefs.

A range of account options are available: The Newcomer Portfolio (€250) covers 9 main currencies and 25+ instruments, while higher-tier portfolios like the Silver (€2,000) and Investor (€5,000) provide more instruments, loans, and insured trades. The Golden (€10,000), Platinum (€25,000), and Premium (€50,000) portfolios offer even more assets, educational resources, and bonuses. The top-tier Black VIP Portfolio (€100,000) grants access to the company’s reserve fund, VIP trading signals, and unlimited market analytics. All accounts come with a personal account manager and fixed/floating spreads.

Offering high bonuses, insured trades, and loans could be potential warning signs of a scam so we should check who is behind this website.

Unfortunately, not much information is available. According to their About page, Clark Financial Advisory Limited is a London-based company.

They provide a company number, 08464355, which according to the UK Companies House, belongs indeed to an active private limited company called CLARK FINANCIAL ADVISORY LIMITED from 19 Roslyn Road, Hathersage, Hope Valley, England, S32 1BY.

However, the address we found at clarkfinadv.net is:

Tower 42, 25 Old Broad St, Cornhill, London EC2N 1HN, UK.

And the email they provide is support@clarkfinadv.net, which suggests there should be another domain name: clarkfinadv.net. And indeed there is. Clarkfinadv.net was registered on January 16, 2023, through Hostinger, UAB, just 4 days after clarkfinadv.com was registered.

Clarkfinadv.net however is currently an empty slate and has no content.

So to summarize, clarkfinadv.com and clarkfinadv.net are very new sites that receive very little traffic. Also, there is a discrepancy between the registered address and the address listed on the website.

Let’s move on to check user reviews.

    Clark Financial Advisory Limited Reviews

The first thing we notice when we look for reviews is an FCA (UK Financial Conduct Authority) warning about clarkfinadv.com, according to which, there is a clone firm named Clark Financial Advisory Limited that has been contacting people pretending to be an authorized firm.

This unauthorized firm has been using the details of the genuine, FCA-authorized Clark Financial Advisory Limited to deceive people.

Dealing with this clone firm would leave individuals unprotected by the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

The warning mentions that this clone firm found at clarkfinadv.com uses the following valid UK phone numbers:

    • +442086383070
    • +442081571142

The details of the genuine Clark Financial Advisory Limited include

    • the telephone number is +447950383661,
    • the email address andrewclark07@yahoo.co.uk,
    • and their website address is clarkfinancialgroup.net.

As for user reviews, on TrustPilot we find the following review regarding Clarkfinadv.com from April 15, 2023:

It’s a scam. Their manager or advisor pressures you to pay more, and when you request a withdrawal, they never allow it. Then, the advisor deletes their Telegram account.

Clark Financial has received additional negative reviews from customers who feel the company doesn’t care about them. One customer felt neglected after depositing the minimum amount and not receiving any assistance. They were later told they needed to deposit at least $10,000 to receive more attention.

Another reviewer warns that Clark Financial is a scam, impersonating a real brokerage firm.

A third review mentions receiving suspicious calls from the company, noting that the representatives had non-British accents and were insistent on an immediate $5,000 deposit, raising suspicion about the legitimacy of the company.

    Bottom Line

In conclusion, our investigation into Clark Financial Advisory Limited at clarkfinadv.com has raised several red flags.

The website is relatively new with little traffic, and there is a discrepancy between the registered address and the address listed on the site.

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has issued a warning about a clone firm using the genuine Clark Financial Advisory Limited’s details to deceive people.

User reviews are also overwhelmingly negative, with complaints of scam-like behavior, lack of customer support, and suspicious phone calls.

Given these concerns, we believe that Clarkfinadv.com is a SCAM! Potential clients should exercise caution when dealing with this platform and consider looking into other, more established, and reputable financial service providers.
