Glaxo Coin Trading Review: Is it a Scam?

Welcome to our Glaxo Coin Trading review, in which we investigate the website currently found at glaxocointrading.com.

On March 16, 2023, the following BBB (Better Business Bureau) complaint was posted by a Mansura or Marksville, Louisiana, United States person who claims being scammed for $1,500 by Glaxo coin trading company, a cryptocurrency scam:

The person who helped with the investment claimed to be Elon Musk. All the profits were very high, but then they asked for my driver’s license and said it would cost $5,300 to complete the verification process in order to receive the profits.

This behavior is suspicious and may indicate an attempt to scam or deceive the person, highlighting why it’s essential to be cautious and thoroughly research investment opportunities and individuals before providing personal information or making payments.

So is Glaxo Coin Trading Company a SCAM?

Glaxo Coin Trading Review

The domain glaxocointrading.com was registered on December 23, 2022, for one year through Internet Domain Service BS Corp. It is hosted by Akamai Technologies.

According to glaxocointrading.com, Glaxo Coin Investment Limited is an international financial company engaged in investment activities related to stock trading on financial markets using cryptocurrency and exchanges performed by professional traders.

They offer active management, safe and secure payment gateway, and innovation to give clients an edge. They believe in responsible investing and have committed to transparency and full disclosure and claim to prioritize client orientation, timely transactions, consistent returns, security, and professional support. They also emphasize financial wellness and responsible investment strategies.

GlaxoCoin Trading offers several investment plans with varying durations, minimum and maximum deposits, and returns.

However, the investment plans offered by Glaxo Coin Trading Company seem too good to be true and could be a scam. The promised returns are very high and unrealistic, ranging from 3% to 304% hourly, which is not a sustainable business model.

In addition, limited information is provided about the company’s background and investment strategy. The lack of transparency about their investment approach raises concerns about the company’s legitimacy.

They claim to be registered in the United Kingdom with a verification certificate available. However, it is not linked to the CompaniesHouse website.

    They write:

Glaxo Coin Trading Ltd is officially registered in the United Kingdom Company House With registration number 11498630, Suite 2a Blackthorn House, St. Pauls Square, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B3 1RL

But we find nothing when searching for “Glaxo Coin Trading Ltd” on the find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk.

And when we search for company number “11498630,” we find WAVE TRADING LTD, an active private limited Company that has been involved in Management consultancy activities other than financial management since August 2018, located at St. Pauls Square, Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Also, their copyright line reads “Copyright @2020 All Rights Reserved By Glaxo Coin Trading Company,” even though it’s already 2023.

The minimum deposit amount is 150 USD, with no deposit fees.

Payment methods include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Perfect Money.

Deposits using Perfect Money reflect instantly, while deposits using cryptocurrencies reflect after 3 Blockchain confirmations.

The minimum amount for withdrawal is 1 USD, and withdrawal requests are processed in less than 24 hours.

Referral commissions are also offered, with a potential commission of up to 10% for successful referrals.

    Contact Information

Glaxo Coin Trading Company claims to provide 24/7 customer support.

They offer a contact form and live chat widget.

    Email: support@glaxocointrading.com.

Glaxo Coin Trading Company also claims to be a registered and regulated Malta investment firm; however, in another place, they claim to be registered in the UK and provide a UK address.

    So two addresses are provided:

The first is 10 Giuseppe Cali 10 Giuseppe Cali, Ta’ Xbiex, Malta. (Appears to be residential on Google Maps.)

And the second is Suite 2a Blackthorn House, St. Pauls Square, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B3 1RL.

The second address is the same as WAVE TRADING LTD, which uses the same UK CompaniesHouse registration number provided by Glaxo Coin Trading Company.

Who is Behind Glaxo Coin Trading Company?

WAVE TRADING LTD is owned by CARRASCO GARCIA, Juan Carlos, from Suite 2a, Blackthorn House, St. Pauls Square, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B3 1RL.

He has been the Director since August 3, 2018, and resides in Spain, according to UK CompaniesHouse.

At least two sites may have been associated with Wave Trading LTD:

    • wave-tradingltd.com
    • wave-trading.ltd

    Both of them are defunct.

From examining the Google index, we noticed, however, that they were very similar.

For example, the Google search snippet for wave-tradingltd.com was “We’re an investment comapny providing a range of investment services to support our clients in business and in life. We’re focused on empowering you …” [sic]

While for wave-trading.ltd, we saw: “We’re focused on empowering you financially throughout your life. Contact Us. Email: support@wave-trading.ltd; Address: Suite 2a Blackthorn …”

And Glaxo Coin is another version of this website with a Google snippet of “Glaxo Coin Trading Limited is a recognized leader in online Cryptocurrency trading and stock Market exchange with years of experience and a global presence.”

And this exact text existed for the other websites. For example, “Wave Trading Limited is a recognized leader in online Cryptocurrency trading and stock Market exchange with years of experience and a global presence.”

Many other similar sites exist—for example, tradesignalltd.com and coingrowthinvestment.com (defunct).

We do not know whether the same people are behind all of them. Still, it seems reasonable that, perhaps initially, they did open a registered business in the UK (apparently, not a hard thing to do since we came across quite a few scammers who have done that.)

Then, when the websites closed, they had to change the business name but still use the original registration. And getting a new one would probably be costly or complicated.

    GlaxoCoin Scam Reviews

There are no GlaxoCoin reviews. However, we did find some reviews of Trade-Signal, one of the Glaxo Coin clones.

The reviewers describe the platform as a scam and warn others to avoid it.

Some reviewers say they deposited money into the platform but didn’t receive the promised returns or any of their funds back.

One reviewer mentions being strung along for months and ultimately threatened when they called out the platform.

Another reviewer says they were asked to provide their BIP32 root key and were told to add 20% of their gains for fees, which they describe as a total scam.

Additionally, reviewers criticize the platform’s support, saying it is unprofessional and has no company address.

On July 6, 2023, we received the following complaint:

I started investing with Coinbase under the advice of Elon Musk. I transferred $839 to the Glaxo Coin Investment wallet. However, I became suspicious when I couldn’t sign in to Glaxocoin.com. Is this a scam? Is Glaxco a legitimate company? Are my funds secure?

Unfortunately, this person was unaware they had fallen for a terrible scam.

    Bottom Line

We conclude that GlaxoCoinTrading appears to be a SCAM!

Today’s story involves someone who claimed to be Elon Musk and offered assistance with an investment that yielded high profits.

However, the individual then requested the person’s driver’s license and asked for a payment of $5,300 to complete verification and receive the profits.

This is an example of why it’s crucial to conduct comprehensive research before investing in any company or scheme to avoid scams.

Update (May 3, 2023) – we just received the following email:

I met Elon Musk on Facebook and invested around $9300. Now I’m looking to invest more, but I need to know if this site is real or not. I want to know if glaxocointrading.com is a legitimate investment platform associated with Elon Musk, but I cannot find any information about the site online. Can you provide insight?

Hopefully, this article has provided insight and proved that Elon Musk is contacting people through Facebook to offer them investment opportunities…

Later they sent us the following tip on May 18, 2023:

I discovered that the website in question is fraudulent. An individual claiming to be Elon Musk impersonated someone from Nigeria and provided false updates.
