On September 22, 2023, one of our partners received the following complaint from a person who reported being scammed for 21,000 pesos (~$1.1K):
There is a broker who introduced me to cryptocurrency investment through a company named XPERTTRADER. I signed in and invested 4,000 pesos, with a promise that it would be traded to earn a profit of $5,000. They informed me that I was now capable of withdrawing it. Upon attempting to withdraw, the last step required a withdrawal code. I had to ask the company for this code. However, to receive the code, I was asked to deposit an additional $300 or 17,000 pesos into the company. They assured me that after making this deposit, the amount would be credited to my bank account.
However, while waiting for it to be credited to my bank account, the bank manager informed me that the company would send me a message demanding an additional payment of $200 or 12,000 pesos. That’s when I decided not to pay the $200, as I didn’t have the funds. This led me to believe that the investment was likely a fraudulent scheme.

We found no ChartNexus or XPertTrader reviews claiming this software is a scam. On the contrary, it appears that ChartNexus is a legitimate company.
This makes us wonder if the complaints we opened this review with may have been referring to a different website, perhaps an XPertTrader impostor site.
We do find evidence of a website at xperttrader.com, but it is an old domain from 2004, so it is unlikely to be the site referred to by the complainers.
Xpertrader.com is a controversial trading software and investment club service. A man named Chris Pay ran it. People are questioning its legitimacy on online forums like Trade2Win. Users there discuss receiving letters from fraud squads asking about their investments with Chris Pay and Xpertrader.com. It seems there are suspicions and ongoing investigations regarding its operations.
The forum posts advise caution when dealing with services like Xpertrader.com. They warn against falling for promises of substantial, quick returns. Members share their experiences, with some having taken free trials from Xpertrader yet feeling suspicious of their offerings. The advice is to be skeptical of too-good-to-be-true investment opportunities and to conduct thorough research.
Furthermore, there are conversations about Xpertrader.com changing identities, possibly to avoid legal consequences. It adds another layer of uncertainty and doubt about the service’s reliability. The forum participants stress the importance of avoiding potential scams and always opting for reputed services to avoid financial losses. Therefore, it’s recommended to be cautious, research thoroughly, and consult reliable and established investment platforms when investing in trading software or investment clubs.
XPertTrader Review Conclusion
In conclusion, our review of XPertTrader presents a mixed bag. We found two main complaints of scams, casting shadows of doubt. However, these claims are not straightforward. There’s confusion around whether these claims target XPertTrader by ChartNexus or another entity with a similar name.
Starting positively, ChartNexus appears genuine and established. They offer tools that aim to simplify and enhance trading experiences. Their commitment to community and transparency is evident, with free tools available to users. But there’s room for improvement. More contact information and detailed company data could boost their credibility.
On the flip side, there is a realm of uncertainty. There’s talk about an ‘XPertTrader’ involved in suspicious activities online. The existence of a possibly rogue entity with a name similar to XPertTrader by ChartNexus complicates matters. This makes it hard to pinpoint the exact target of the scam allegations.
Lastly, our advice to potential users is simple: Be cautious. In a world where scams lurk around corners, thorough research and careful decision-making are crucial.
When considering XPertTrader or any other trading tool, ensure you are dealing with the correct, credible entity. A cautious approach will guard you against potential pitfalls and unwelcome surprises. Thus, navigate the investment waters carefully, armed with robust research and a discerning eye.
