ScurryHighCryp Review: Is It a $1k Losing Crypto Scam or Legit?

Welcome to our ScurryHighCryp Review, where we look into the website scurryhighcryp.com.

On December 28, 2022, a report regarding a “Crypto/Investment Scam – Hacked Social Media Solicitation” was made with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) by a person from from Orland Park, Illinois, USA, who claims losing $1,000 to this website. They write:

The scammed hacked my friends Instagram account. Posted for my friend her profit from Ethereum. I messaged my friend and she assured me it was real.

Well I got in touch with the “miner” & made the $1k transaction to begin with the trust wallet. Then she gave me her website to proceed.

After that she requested a mining fee of $2,500. I said no and asked for my money back. She never told me about any additional fees. That’s when she said no refund and blocked me on Instagram.

I then found she has over 10 fake Instagram accounts that I’ve found personally. I can provide all details if requested. Who knows how much more she’s taking from others.

My friend can’t get into her Instagram because this person hacked it. I found out by messaging her outside social media.

So is ScurryHighCryp legit or is it a SCAM?

ScurryHighCryp Review

The domain scurryhighcryp.com was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on January 20, 2022 for one year.

Today is January 22, 2023 and the domain is not working anymore, which indicates it might have been a scam since a legitimate website would make sure to renew their domain before it expires.

The identity of the previous owners of the domain is hidden by a privacy service provided by Withheld for Privacy.

The website was hosted by Amazon.com, Inc.

According to SimilarWeb, the domain received less than 5K visits in December 2022, but its Semrush Authority Score is 0% with no backlinks so we find it hard to believe they received much traffic.

While the website is no longer online, we can see that the following pages are still indexed on Google:

    • The homepage
    • Creaet [sic] Account page
    • User Login page
    • Contact page

The homepage’s meta description was: “The Premium Bitcoin And Other Crypto Currency Investment Platform. Our company specializes on Mining Technologies, Smart Increase, and proper investment …”

The homepage is cached by Google and from the available information we can learn that Scurryhighcryp claimed to be a premium investment platform for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

The company allegedly specialized in mining technologies, smart increase, and proper investment plans, while providing easy withdrawal methods, global and secure services, and various investment plans for customers.

Scurryhighcryp also had a mobile app that offered fast services, accurate customer care, live online agents, and a responsive dashboard.

The company accepted various cryptocurrencies such as ETH, BTC, LTC and also bank deposits and credit card transfers.

The platform aimed to increase all currencies and provide customers with resources to divide their investments between P2P loans, crowdfunding, and ICO campaigns.

The company also planed to have an initial token distribution, pre-sale and values, and a roadmap for development and customer support.

The meta description for the contact page was: “RESOURCES. How to Buy Coin; Coin Overview ; NETWORK. Network Stats; Block Explorers ; SUPPORT. Contact Us; Developer Center …”

The page is also cached by Google and we were able to access the following information from a snapshot of a website called “scurryhighcryp.com” on December 21st, 2022:

The website contains information about various cryptocurrencies, including Cardano (ADA), Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC) and their current prices.

The contact page had a form to submit inquiries, a “write for us” section, an email address (contact@scurryhighcryp.com), and links to terms and conditions, privacy policy, and registration, but no address, telephone number, or any other contact information.

Additionally, the website had a resources section that included information on buying and selling coins, a blog, and a network section with information on stats, explorers, governance, and exchange markets.

Finally, there was also a support section with contact information, developer resources, and a newsletter subscription option.

The login and create account pages were hosted on the sub-domain: actt.scurryhighcryp.com.

    Is ScurryHighCryp a SCAM?

Scurryhighcryp’s fancy plans have all disappeared by now and any money lost by their clients is unfortunately lost.

The fact that they are no longer online is enough proof for us, however let’s move forward and see if any other reviews are available about them online.

    ScurryHighCryp Reviews

Unfortunately, we cannot find any scurryhigh cryp reviews online.

However, could there be any other websites created by the owners of this scurryhighcryp.com?

We have a couple of hints for that when we examine their homepage.

They provide an address there: ICO TOKEN 555 Madison Avenue, Suite F-2 Manhattan, New York 10282.

According to Google Maps, this is the address of a building which houses TD Bank, Max Mara, Torreya Partners, ABC, and other companies, but neither scurryhighcryp nor “ICO TOKEN” are mentioned.

And a telephone number: 0934 343 343, which is not a New York number, not even a US number.

In fact, this doesn’t seem like a real phone number.

    And an email address: info@token.com.

Moreover, they write: “Risingcoinsteer is an Investment platform that suits all crypto investor needs.”

So what is ICO Token? Token.com? And Risingcoinsteer?

“ICO Token” is not a name of any company or website.

Token.com is a mobile application focused on democratizing access to the innovations of the crypto market, which has nothing to do with Scurry High Cryp.

And the only mention of “Risingcoinsteer” we could find was on the website: increaseloftyminers.com.

Bingo…! increaseloftyminers.com seems to be another website created by the owners of Scurry High Crypto.

Much of the text that exists at scurryhighcryp.com can also be found at increaseloftyminers.com, and even the address, phone number, and email address are the same.

IncreaseLoftyMiners also have very similar Whois information.

Since the phone number is 0934 343 343 is probably not real, it can also serve as a way to find out additional websites owned by the same scammer.

Any website that uses this number is probably going to be a scam whether or not it looks like Scurry High Crypto.

A quick Google search shows that many websites use this number, including:

    • consultsbc.com
    • apply2day.gr
    • mactay.com
    • jacksonvillehairsalons.com
    • robota-germany.com
    • gehuntermedical.com
    • cryptifiedsolutions.com
    • hotelespana.al
    • employesbc.com
    • lagosdigitalnomads.com
    • talantebi.ge
    • udlsf.com
    • insphire.co.il
    • ajobshop.com
    • casaalfareros.com
    • ltxconnect.org
    • mypcn.org
    • ffrecruitment.com

Most of these websites are not cryptocurrency investment websites. Many of them are pretending to be Jobify Inc., which is rather strange and we’re not sure what to make of it.

There are also many fake sites that contain the address: “555 Madison Avenue, Suite F-2 Manhattan, New York 10282,” including:

    • hametoo.com
    • dvori-jokic.singularminds.eu
    • gujranwalaliving.com
    • dcambassadorhotel.com

However, one of them contains the words “ICO TOKEN” before the address, just like ScurryHighCryp does:

    • globalbitfare.com

Global Bitfare is another cryptocurrency investment site so can deduce that it’s probably also owned by the same people who brought to you ScurryHighCrypto.

    ScurryHighCryp Review Bottom Line

To conclude, our investigation has shown without a doubt that Scurry HighCryp is a SCAM!

Not only that but Risingcoinsteer may have been a previous website owned by the same scammers and Increase Lofty Miners (increaseloftyminers.com) is another website owned by them.
