    1. I regularly get these notices from Network Registry Corporation on Facebook.

It is no use reporting their pages or posts to Facebook as they have automatic algorithms (i.e. not real people) that review these reports and always conclude that Network Registry Corporation and their posts do not violate any Facebook standards.

Here is an example of what Facebook replies back with when you report one of Network Registry Corporation’s posts:

“Thanks for letting us know about this. The post was reviewed, and although it doesn’t go against one of our specific Community Standards, you did the right thing by letting us know about it. We understand that it may still be offensive or distasteful to you, so we want to help you see less of things like it in the future.”

And if you try and report one of Network Registry Corporation’s Facebook pages, this is what you get back:

“Thanks for your report – you did the right thing by letting us know about this. The Page you reported was reviewed, and although it doesn’t go against one of our specific Community Standards, we understand that the Page or something shared on it may still be offensive to you. We want to help you avoid things you don’t want to see on Facebook.”

So Facebook won’t even look into these scams. As such, they are implicitly allowing these scams to go on unchecked as you have no way of getting a human to look at what is going on.

There are at least a hundred Social Network Registry Corporation pages live on Facebook right now. I’ve even linked to one on Meta’s own page, and Meta have replied. Guess what? Not against community standards. They really do not give a damn about their users.

    4. I have fallen victim to this scam a couple a couple of weeks ago. They posted something on my business Fb page which went against community standards and I have had my fb account disabled resulting in me losing a lot of business. Not only have they lost me business they stole over £400 out of my bank which I have recovered via the banks fraud team. I have tried explaining what has happened to fb however no one seems to get back to me.
