CrestTradeMining Review: Don’t Lose $5,810 Like This Victim!

On January 3, 2023, a report was filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) by a person who claims losing $5,810 for this scam.

According to the complaint, a scammer hacked a social media account of someone the complainer knew personally, and pretended to be making profits from bitcoin mining.

The complainer was convinced to deposit money through Cashapp and bitcoin ATMs, but was then charged multiple fees for withdrawal, and was not given any actual trading guidance.

The supposed “mentor” just kept urging the complainer to deposit more money. The complainer ultimately lost a significant amount of money.

The domain cresttrademining.com was registered on March 6, 2022 for one year through Hosting Concepts B.V. d/b/a Registrar.eu.

    This 10 month old website seems to barely receive any traffic, and it has a few backlinks, but none from any legitimate websites.

    According to Cresttrademining.com, users can make deposits and watch their capital grow.

    There are various investment plans depending on the amount of deposit, and the minimum deposit amount is $25.

    Users can request withdrawals, which are processed within 24 hours.

    The website also offers a referral program, where users can earn rewards for referring friends and family who make deposits.

    Contact Information

    On the Contact page, the following company name is mentioned: Cresttrademining Limited.

    The name of the director is Connor Burke.

    The phone number is +1 (616) 259-0718.

    (Area code 616 is the US telephone area code for Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan, including the towns of Holland, Greenville, and Grand Haven.)

    The address is: 3238 Doctors Drive, Los Angeles, California, 90017 USA.

    Searching this address on Google Maps reveals it is a fake address used by another investment company, Cryptolitemax. According to a Google Maps review, “This place is fake and the person behind the scheme is on Instagram as Coach Linda Martinez.”

    There’s also a contact form, live chat widget, and an email address: “SUPPORT@CRESTTRADEMINING” [sic].

    Red Flags

    In the Top 10 Investors page, all of the users were registered with the platform before the domain’s registration date.

    In the FAQ, one of the question says “Is Cresttrademining a registered company?” to which they answer: “Yes, Cresttrademining is registered in the United Kingdom as ‘BIT KINDLE LIMITED’ with a registration number of 11712396.”

    According to the UK CompaniesHouse, there is indeed such a company at 72 Pepys Street Fenchurch Street, London, United Kingdom, EC3N 2NU belonging to a Connor Burke of 94 Uxbridge Road, Small Dole, Horsham, United Kingdom, BN5 6YU

    It is a dissolved private limited company since October 27, 2020.

    On the About page of Crest Trade Mining, a fake incorporation certificate can be found.

    Finally, a number is mentioned on the website, which looks like a registration number, “#SL026414,” however searching Google reveals that this number can be found in other sites as well, which may be a part of a scam network of websites made by the same person or group of people.

    These websites, which also look very similar to cresttrademining.com, include:

    Bottom Line: Is CrestTradeMining Legit?

    Cresttrademining is a fake cryptocurrency and forex trading firm that claims to have investment solutions with a minimum deposit of $100 and maximum deposit of $999, with 20% return in 2 hours, 40% return in 4 hours and 90% return in 24 hours.

    This are exaggarated claims that are way too good to be true and along with the other red flags we’ve seen, we come to the conclusion that Cresttrademining is definitely a SCAM!
